The Story of SimPracty
SimPracty started with a small group of engineers. During the supply of industrial and educational equipment, they realized a huge problem: different software is used for different types of equipment, it is expensive and takes a long time to implement into the system, as well.
The power of one step
Current CEO and co-founder Ramon Krupenin was the first to find a way to bridge the gap between modern technical modeling capabilities and real-life experience with engineers. He was intrigued by the growing number of possibilities opening up in augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR). He addressed each member of the team with a suggestion: “Let's use this new technology to make learning technical simulations cheaper, easier and more realistic!”
Software Without a System
It became apparent that the available AR/MR hardware was not capable of delivering what SimPracty wanted to achieve. Although the technology was promising, it wasn't developing fast enough for the software SimPracty was working on. With the advent of new headset models, virtual reality (VR) has emerged.
Entering Virtual Reality
SimPracty has followed on the heels of virtual reality technology. Moving from an AR/MR company to virtual reality wasn't easy. It was necessary to adapt not only the software, but also to change everything from marketing materials to the use of various technical methods.
SimPracty is Never Standing Still
SimPracty was founded by engineers and is still led and managed by them. Even though SimPracty is much bigger than it was in its founding days, it continues to grow and evolve as technology continues to improve and change technical learning methods around the world.
